2021 Atlantic Hurricane Preparedness

June 1 through November 30 is the Atlantic Hurricane Season.  Are you prepared?  Get your supplies before the hurricane approaches the coast line.  Have enough food and water for each person for at least one week.  Be sure to fill your prescriptions and have medicine on hand.  Radios, batteries and phone chargers are also a must have.  Gas up your vehicle and have extra cash on hand.

At GCWSC, we are conducting paper "what if" scenarios so that all servicemen stay on the same page.  Generators are run under demand weekly and have had annual service checks to be sure they are in optimal working condition.  While Gonzales is safe from a direct hit from a hurricane, we are susceptible to high winds, tornados, and rain that can cause electrical outages.
